On some occasions, I suppose our company could be be called INDOOR Artisan. Here is a close up of a project I took on for a good friend. The bar top is a maple slab. But most importantly: look at how the "imperfections" can be transformed into the highlight, and a thing of beauty!
Epoxy Mirrorcast with green tint poured into the wood inclusions, then painstakingly sanded, finished, and sealed.
My heart goes out to anyone who has ever looked across the landscape of their life without hope that it could ever change or get better. That is a very very dark place to be. Take it one day at a time. Try to stay focused on the things (or those) you love which are right in front you and don't listen to the lies in your head.
The last 5 years have taken me on a journey that I mostly wish I had been spared from: one that involved failure and loss and bad decisions both professionally and personally.
However, as many of us know, with time, it is such seasons which often forge your better, most enduring traits.
That said, my long hiatus may finally be giving way to a rekindled desire to create again, or begin something entirely new in a different direction.
I welcome your thoughts and ideas. DM me if you would like to know more about my journey, have a project in mind, or would like to offer up some ideas as part of my life's rebuild as I start from scratch again. I am open to anything. Most importantly, I would appreciate your prayers as I consider my next steps.

🤯 After a very difficult year we finally have some good news! 😅 Clive and I are pleased to announce we are now both part of The Stone Man team. Even Jason, who was our lead carpenter, is beginning to build beautiful cabanas like this for them. Look out for his new Instagram account in the coming weeks. .

As the owner (Clive Newey), I have given everything, figuratively and almost literally, to making it work. But the sacrifices have taken a toll and it is time for a change. I am open to suggestions from anyone... from anywhere... about ANYTHING! And given that many of our core team are now "free agents", there is some formidable talent up for grabs. At the time taken, the automatic outdoor lighting had just come on. 💖 Love how the lights give this sweet space some extra sparkle. Here's the lower patio seating area with Techoblu pavers and Boral veneer walls, capped with flagstone. The custom cedar pergola really completes this area, and makes it feel like it's own room. Although the grass hasn't yet recovered, I wanted to also show the natural stone slaps that give access to lower side yard. .

In the background, you can see we built a C shaped bar around his current grill. This gives the #grillmaster some prep space, and allows for family and friends to sit at the bar while he's grilling, to advise and sample.😋 We also left space for a new grill, since he was planning to upgrade soon. Note: The bright orange flag belongs to a putting green on the other side of the wall. You can see it best in my last post. .

This gas fire pit has great flames, and zero ash cleanup! 🧡 We've noticed a trend towards more of our clients choosing the convenience of gas fire pits, over classic woodburning. They prefer just turning it on whenever they want . . . and not having to mess with buying firewood, keeping the fire going, ash clean up, and the inevitable charred-wood smell in their hair. 🔥However, we still get a few wood-burning diehards that love the crackle of a wood fire, and enjoy throwing trash in to watch how it burns. .
